If you try and stop/restart the screen you will need to use one of the stream links in account management to start it again.

Where are you located? (region / country)
What kind of internet connection do you have?
What are the symptoms when you say it "won't make a connection" with the HD streams. do you get choppy video? just the spinning circle waiting for the video to start?

Just to be clear - we have a known issue with the HD streams "loading forever" and never showing video. Hoping to have it fixed very shortly, stay tuned right here

Those having the "loading forever" / "spinny circle" issue on the HD streams, please try clicking the link through account management again and let me know if it fixes for you.

I will try and find out what this audio working without video thing is. That is a separate issue to the one which was fixed earlier I believe.
Is it happening on all 3 of the HD options?

Narrowing this down a bit - is there anyone NOT on a mac who is having the audio but no video issue with HD ?

We are checking this out on some macs now and will try and reproduce / find a work around for you guys. Stay tuned...

We have been unable to reproduce the issue so far, but for the record we have been getting the HD stream working just fine on multiple macs in our office.
We tested on:
OSX 10.6.6
Flash 10.1.102.64 Safari, Firefox worked fine
Flash 10.2.154.25 Chrome (built in to Chrome) worked fine
For those having problems - what flash/osx versions are you on?
